China: the new center of innovation

The US had a good run, but China has officially taken over the reigns of circusular luminosity. Here is a flavor of the brilliance coming from the Middle Kingdom:

Dude 1: You know what our creepy circus needs: a tight-rope act.
Dude 2: No, no, no - that's just what those clowns at ringling brothers would do.
Dude 1: Ok, fine then, how let's put a goat on the tight-rope.
Dude 2: Are you serious? Goats traipse about mountain crevasses for a living. Ho hum.
Dude 1: Well, what if a monkey was riding the goat?
Dude 2: Hmmm, ok, you may be onto something. But still, it's not quite enough.
Dude 1: How about we make the goat balance on a tiny red thingermerbob in the middle of the tightrope and then the monkey does a handstand on the goat's horns?
Dude 2: Make it so!
